Texarkana-Oaklawn Rotary awarded $600 donations to 11 nonprofits in the area on February 18. Representatives from each organization attended to receive the donation which they can use where most needed. The $6,600 was raised in the fall at Oaklawn’s annual Draw Down event. The Club’s President is Jennifer Stuart who is pictured on the far right. The recipients included: Caddo Area Council of Boy Scouts; CASA; Domestic Violence Prevention; Habitat for Humanity; Harvest Regional Food Bank; Hospice of Texarkana; Main Street Texarkana; Mission Texarkana; Opportunities Inc.; Randy Sams’ Outreach Shelter; and the local chapter of Vietnam Veterans.Texarkana Oaklawn Rotary Club Donates to Local Non-Profits
