It is easy to take basic education and literacy for granted, but many are not so fortunate and as with other basic rights we accept as true and assume will always be present, if we do not contribute to and support basic education and literacy, it can disappear. That is one reason our dictionary project is so important to children and the reason for the support many Clubs in our District 5830 show for Club Project Grants placing books in schools and libraries, available to children.
But, there is another very important reason your support is needed. We as Rotarians lead by example. When we set the example of continuing to value education and literacy so will other Rotarians and people they impact.

It does come down to this what we value, we support by our time, our toil, and our treasure. In Rotary, what starts here changes the world.

Your involvement in our success is crucial.
