First, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude for all the efforts this past year to learn, promote, and become more Rotary Brand Compliant!  Clubs have done an amazing job, but we aren’t done yet!  I am excited to introduce a new initiative for Rotary District 5830 during Jeff Johnston's year as District Governor - achieving 100% Brand Compliance!
This initiative is focused on ensuring that all clubs within our district are representing Rotary, in a consistent and professional manner, across all public-facing platforms with a little friendly competition added into the mix.

To help clubs achieve this goal, we have outlined a list of tasks that each club must complete. These tasks include conducting a Club Public Image Audit, attending District Public Image Training, completing Public Image Learning Center Training, promoting club programs and events on social media, designating a Public Image Chair, and ensuring the club logo is compliant across all platforms.

In addition to the mandatory tasks, there are also optional bonus items that clubs can choose to participate in, such as creating a Club Public Image Plan, implementing a Content Calendar, promoting a Polio Event, utilizing People of Action Overlays in social media posts, seeking news coverage for club events, and keeping club officers up to date on the club website.

We will be conducting a Final Audit of all social media platforms and club websites between June 15, 2025, and June 30, 2025, so it is important for clubs to ensure that they are meeting all brand compliance and reporting requirements by this deadline. The Citation Report must include screenshots of examples to demonstrate compliance.

The Public Image Club of the Year Award will be given to one club at the upcoming event. Clubs will be recognized for their achievements based on Citation Levels, with Platinum clubs receiving 100 points or more, Gold clubs receiving 90-99 points, Silver clubs receiving 70-89 points, and Bronze clubs receiving 60-69 points.

We will also be emailing all new Club Presidents and Club officers with this information, as well as a chart outlining the necessary tasks, points, and deadlines. We are confident that with the dedication and collaboration of all clubs within our District, we can achieve 100% Brand Compliance and showcase the incredible work that Rotary is doing in our communities. Let's work together to make District 5830 a shining example of the Magic of Rotary!
