Well, I have been installed as your 2019-2020 District Governor and am eager to go forward. So that we might all receive the Presidential Citation, this month, let's begin by appointing or re-appointing an active club membership committee and an active Foundation committee, with each comprised of no less than five members. Don't forget to report the chairs to Rotary International. Respective goals could include an increase in club membership and an increased donation to both the Foundation and Polio Plus. I look forward to meeting with each of your clubs. Please let me know how I may be of service above self to you. We will connect Rotary with the world together.I am extending my personal invitation for all District 5830 Rotarians to attend the Marshall 100th anniversary celebration on August 24, 2019, at 5:30 p.m. at the Marshall Convention Center in Marshall, Texas, with our International President, Mark Daniel Maloney, giving the keynote address. This will be a rare opportunity to personally meet and greet an International President, and I think you will love Mark Daniel Maloney. I specially invite members of the Jefferson, Longview, Tyler, and Carthage Clubs, which were begun by the Marshall Club. I would love to give him the biggest Texas welcome we can muster.
