Let us keep membership in mind this month and finish forming our club membership committees. Get them working with diversity in mind, and plan an event to invite potential members. We had great Zone Training in New Orleans last month that featured Innovation and Membership and Foundation growth. The program was innovative, and you could see the result of hard work under Chairman Floyd Lancia. I encourage assistant governors who were not there and club presidents and presidents-elect to go to the Zone Training on August 9 - August 10 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  http://www.rizones30-31.org/) I believe you will not be sorry you went. Also, keep World Polio Day, October 24th, in your plans, and support Polio Plus. The end of polio is near, and the needs for inoculation are challenging. We want to remember a successful campaign. Come to the Marshall Clubs 100th Anniversary celebration on August 24th which features International President Mark Daniel Maloney. You will enjoy meeting and hearing him.  Make sure you register soon. I look forward to seeing you at my club visits.

Your District Governor, Jim Finstrom
