We have just finished an incredible District Conference where we heard from two Rotary International Directors, and a Rotary International Past President.Were you there?
All of us are aware of difficulties that can be encountered in traveling to district events, but it truly is important to support your leaders and their efforts to show Rotary beyond the Weekly Club level.
Your DG Karen Maines knocked it out of the park in her multi-district conference and we all need to thank her and her team because these events don’t just happen.
Extending that idea, it takes serious thought and effort from each of us to make our clubs Citation Clubs. And it takes the same type of determination, planning, and budgeting to increase our commitment to PolioPlus, The Rotary Foundation and The Rotary Endowment.
It comes down to how important is Rotary to you? How important is it that we do the work of changing other’s lives for the better?
If you were not present at the District Conference and did not have an opportunity to look at The Rotary Foundation Banquet program, please seek one out; find the people from your club who are increasing Rotary’s presence, say thanks and if you can, join them.
