The Rotary Club of Longview continued its years old tradition of assisting with the Longview Thanksgiving Food Drive this November. Past President James Roberts who serves on the board of the Food Drive organizes the club’s participation each year which includes a sizable cash donation that helps provide turkeys and hens along with the nonperishable items. For several years the club has moved its regular Tuesday noon meeting the week of Thanksgiving to the Food Drive location at Maude Cobb Convention Center where the Rotarians help sort food donations, check in donation recipients and help them gather and load their food boxes.

The annual Food Drive served 858 families in this, it’s 35th year.
