Important message from DGE Jack Welge! Calling all Rotary Club Leaders and Board Members, Rotary needs your skills and leadership.  Serving as the President of your Rotary Club is one of the most important roles in Rotary International. It is a most rewarding time in your life. Whether attending as a President Elect or President Nominee coming to your role as multi-year Rotary Board Member or as a recent volunteer, Lone Star President Elect Training Seminar (P.E.T.S.) from February 27, 2020 - March 1, 2020 helps make your Rotary Club President year easier and more effective.

Lone Star P.E.T.S. is the largest multi-district P.E.T.S. in Rotary International.  Ten Rotary Districts from Texas and Oklahoma come together to plan, prepare, and present club leadership essentials. When you come to Lone Star P.E.T.S. you meet with 500 President Elects and 125 President Nominees, who together with partners/spouses, presenters, facilitators, District personnel, and support staff make up the 900-1000 attendees.

Your experience will begin with seminars you select for Thursday evening, then continue with an all-day District training seminar Friday, teaching
-    How to Become a Vibrant Club Leader
-    How to Become a Vibrant Rotary Club
-    How to Grow and Engage Club Membership
-    How to Support Your Rotary Foundation to Increase Humanitarian Service
-    How to Use Fundraising that Works
-    How to Promote Your Rotary Club
-    How to Become a Leader Who Really Leads
Saturday, your training continues with Multi-District Facilitators tackling real world issues, and on
Sunday you will each be qualified by Club so your Club may join in Rotary Foundation Programs to more effectively participate in changing the world.

Most importantly, training is required but your registration fee as a President Elect is reimbursable.

Registration is now open at www.lonestarpets.org and hotel rooms in the discounted room block are filing fast.

We’ll see you there!
