BE A ROTARIAN, EVERY DAY!  Promoting Rotary by living by the Four-Way-Test should be simple! Another effective way you can promote Rotary is by wearing your pin to spread awareness about our organization. At the recent District Assembly, I had the opportunity to discuss the importance of finding your favorite Rotary pin and wearing it every day.
For me, my favorite pin is the Women in Rotary pin that I purchased through Russell Hampton. While it may not be as recognizable as some other pins, it serves as a conversation starter that allows me to share my passion for Rotary with others.

Even Past Rotary International President Ron Burton has a very special very small Mark of Excellence pin that he wears that draws people in and gets them to ask about his pin.  A WIN-WIN to get people to ask YOU about ROTARY! To find your favorite, if you don’t already have one visit Russell Hampton, an approved Rotary vendor. https://www.bestclubsupplies.com/Rotary-Lapel-Pins/departments/61/

In addition to wearing your pin, it's important to promote Rotary on your social media platforms, wear Rotary clothing on non-meeting days, and actively invite others to join you at a Rotary meeting. Do you have a Rotary brochure, business card, or Four-Way Test card to share with potential new members? Do you know your Rotary Elevator Speech to effectively communicate what Rotary is all about?

Remember, you may be the only Rotarian that someone ever comes in contact with, so make sure you are representing our organization well. Be a Rotarian. EVERY DAY!

If you need more information about our Brand, Public Image, and promoting Rotary, be sure to attend the Virtual Public Image District Training on June 8 from 8 to noon.  Links to register for this free event can be found on the District Calendar.
