November always celebrates The Rotary Foundation in the Rotary International World. World Polio Day has just passed, and Rotarians are able to focus on the good they can do through The Rotary Foundation (TRF). TRF is the engine which drives all the good we do. Whether it is giving dictionaries to local third graders, buying bicycles for children for Christmas, supporting your local food bank, or a host of other local projects, Rotarians make a huge difference in their local communities. TRF also allows us to do significant work internationally. In 2020-21, over 2,000 Global Grants valued at $130M were completed around the world. Your support of TRF helped provide clean water, medical care, economic development, education, and promoted peace in places around the globe.
District 5830 is presently supporting projects in Kenya, England, Columbia, Guatemala, and Mexico. These projects are large and small, but each one is helping to improve the lives of people in need. Your generosity allows us to, collectively, make a huge impact!
