We in Rotary District 5830 are Blessed in having many unsung heroes who when asked, step into needed leadership positions and quietly perform the service required. Many times, that occurs without fanfare and, sometimes, sadly without thanks and praise.Ingrid Self is such a leader! When asked by PDG Ted Huffhines to assist on the District Foundation Committee, she quietly and expertly stepped into the role and served as a grant writer and sometimes grant creator for our District Rotary Foundation Grants.
When PDG Ted moved on to fill a role in our Zone, Ingrid Self, again quietly assumed the Role of District Foundation Chair and Director for the 2021-2022 Rotary Year.
We in District 5830 are most grateful for her service.
As a result of her service to Rotary, her Longview-Greggton Rotary Club and our District 5830, our programs have continued seamlessly, and she has helped us attain new levels of service above self.
