I am excited to introduce myself as your new Rotary District 5830 Public Image Director. My name is Tiffany Damskov, and I am thrilled to be joining you on this amazing journey of serving our communities through Rotary.
With my background in marketing and public relations, I understand the importance of branding and utilizing it properly. Today, I would like to share why it is crucial for each one of us to embrace and promote the Rotary brand effectively.

The Rotary brand represents our values, vision, and impact in transforming lives. It is a visual representation of the incredible work we do as Rotarians. By using the Rotary brand consistently and correctly, we create a clear and recognizable identity that connects us to a greater global network of Rotarians.

First, when we use the Rotary brand properly, we convey a sense of professionalism. Whether it's on our websites, social media pages, or even in our printed materials, consistency in our branding enhances our credibility and demonstrates our commitment to excellence. By adhering to the Rotary brand guidelines, we show that we take our role as community leaders seriously.

Furthermore, maintaining the integrity of the Rotary brand allows us to amplify our impact. When people see the Rotary logo, they associate it with community service, humanitarian efforts, and a commitment to making the world a better place. This recognition not only attracts potential members but also inspires trust and support from the communities we serve. By leveraging the power of the Rotary brand, we have the potential to amplify our message and mission exponentially.

Additionally, using the Rotary brand properly helps us foster a sense of unity amongst fellow Rotarians. It connects us, regardless of geographical boundaries, language, or cultural differences. By visually and consistently representing our Rotary identity, we create a global community recognizable to all.

To ensure we are utilizing the Rotary brand correctly, I would encourage each club to review the Rotary Brand Center, https://brandcenter.rotary.org/  a comprehensive resource provided by Rotary International. It offers guidelines, assets, and inspiration to help us maintain the integrity of the Rotary brand in all our communications.

As your District Public Image Director, I am here to assist you in showcasing the incredible work you are doing in your communities. Our Public Image Team will be offering training both online and in-person throughout the year.  The first piece of business is our club logos.  The logo changed in 2013 to what most clubs are utilizing today. BUT, some updates still need to be made in our District.  Please make sure you are using the correct logo on all print materials, your website, and social media.

The Rotary wheel is the Mark of Excellence. When you use the Mark of Excellence, you need to use your club or district logo near it for clarity and recognition. – Rotary International
Together, let's make a conscious effort to use the Rotary brand properly and effectively. By doing so, we will not only create a strong Rotary identity but also elevate our impact on local and global scales.

Thank you for your dedication to Rotary, and I am looking forward to working with each one of you to promote our brand and create hope in the world!

Yours in Rotary,
Tiffany Damskov
