The Rotary Foundation’s recognition of PDG John Jetter with the The Rotary Foundation Distinguished Service Award comes after PDG John's years of work on Club, District, Zone and International Projects. Time is always inadequate to appropriately thank a Rotarian with a heart for service.Briefly the award recognizes those who have demonstrated exemplary service to the Rotary Foundation and have received the Citation for Meritorious Service at least 4 years prior.
On R I Awards requiring 11 areas of achievement, John is in the rarefied air of having achieved more than that required and more than the proposal for the award would allow.
