Ian H. S. Riseley, the 2017-2018 President of Rotary International, challenged the members of Rotary clubs worldwide to plant trees in their communities as a service project.  The Clarksville Rotary Club recently planted Shumard Oak trees in three city parks: Fireman’s Park, Grove/3rd Street Park and Cheatham Hill Park on Magnolia Street.   Rotarians shown planting one of the four trees designated for Cheatham Hill Park on Magnolia Street are:  Front row from left:  Bow Willis, Ben Black, Rotary Club President,  Donna Jessee and David Lee.  Back row from left:  Dan Meehan, James Vaughan, Jr., John McPeters and Rob Rowley.
