Clarksville Rotary Club displayed the "Iron Lung" at the Red River County Fair September 19-20, 2018 to promote awareness of the efforts of Rotary International to eradicate polio worldwide. Shown in the photo working the booth, are club president, Dan Meehan and past president, Pam Bryant. On Wednesday and Thursday of the Fair they had lots of interested visitors and passed out Polio informational brochures provided by Shirley Griffin.
We also sold tickets for our 13th Annual Rotary Duck Race to be held the day of our Fall Bazaar on Saturday, October 6, 2018. The funds raised with this event are for our scholarships Each year, we award scholarships to two graduating seniors from each of the four high schools in Red River County.
