ROTARY CLUB OF TYLER recently had an action packed meeting. To begin the business portion, we presented a $2000.00 check for clean water projects to Danny Carpenter, chair of the Global Humanitarian Project Grants Subcommitee. We also reminded everyone of the Polio Plus goal of $5,000 and mentioned the prizes: 2017 F150 Supercrew XLT; $2000.00 Amazon Gift Card; $1500.00 Best Buy Card; $1000.00 Bass Pro Shop Card; $500.00 Academy Gift Card. Everyone is on board and tickets are selling briskly. This goal is very doable so do it NOW!
For the program portion of the meeting, Robin Hood Brians kept us rockin' and rollin' and listening raptly as he sang, played the piano, and told stories of his 50 years in the music business of recording many of the popular artists.
