Funeral services will be Thursday, March 15, 2018, 2 p.m., at First Baptist Church in Marshall with Dr. Hollie Atkinson, and Dr. Ryan Berryhill officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. preceding the service at the church. Interment will be at Yates Memorial Gardens in Scottsville.
 
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to First Baptist Church General Fund.

Gracie Fletcher September 23, 1929 - March 10, 2018
 
Gracie M. Fletcher was born in Rend City, Illinois on September 23, 1929 to Guy Gilbreath and Marie Harmon Gilbreath. She passed away on March 10, 2018 in Longview, Texas. Gracie attended school in Benton, Illinois and graduated from Benton High School.
 
On September 7, 1948 she married Carrol G. Fletcher in Piggot, Arkansas. After moving to Marshall, Texas she joined the First Baptist Church where she was a member for 52 years, and served as the Church Secretary & Finance Administrator. She was also a Sunday School Teacher and worked with the Youth and Various Assignments for the WMU, and also a Greeter.
 
She acquired her Real Estate License in Marshall, and was actively involved in the Texas Federated Women's Club, where she served as Chairman of Trustees, Trustee, Scholarship Chairman, Key District President and was a Life Member. She was also involved with the Ingleside Club, and served on the Board of Directors of Marshall Realtors.
 
Those left who loved her dearly and cherish her memory are her husband of almost 70 years, Carrol G. Fletcher; children, Debbie Hall, David (Mary Lou) Fletcher, and Denice Fletcher (Donnie) Yeagin; grandchildren, Josh Fletcher, Niki (Jason) Monte, Amy Hall, Jessie Hall, and Shane Yeagin & Lyndye; great grandchildren, Jaxon, Braden and Kasen Monte, Damon and Rider Yeagin; sister, Louise Sandusky, and sister-in-law, Judy Fletcher.
 
She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Gary Hall, brothers-in-law, Alva Sandusky, Ben Fletcher, and Bob Fletcher and wife Rae, aunt Nola Skinner and uncle Ted Skinner, and her in-laws, Claude and Maude Fletcher.
