Members of the Rotary Club of Cedar Creek Lake recently visited Jake E's Round Up in Kaufman for fun and service. The club got to see firsthand how equine therapy is used to help children with special needs.
The Rotary Club has sponsored four scholarships at the facility that offers P.E.A.C.E. - People thru Equines Achieving Courage & Empowerment. The non-profit also works with military veterans, at-risk youth as well as special needs individuals.
Those that went on the trip included Rotarians, Interact Club members, family members of Rotarians. and friends of Rotarians. Rotarian Robert Blaase provided his party bus which made the trip even more fun.
